The purpose of this blog is to share, and possibly further, my musings on life, death, the world, and the meaning of it all (tongue only mildly in cheek). Comments are welcome, even encouraged.
I won’t be posting often due to time constraints–I’m shooting for once a week (in case you’re interested enough to want to check back).
As for me–the most relevant information is probably that I have been a teacher all my adult life, and tend to see everything through the lens of learning.
Though, for the purpose of experience and Spiritual advancement, we are all teachers and students, those who dare to teach on purpose are the leaders among us. Doing so “all my adult life” implies you’ve found your passion, your “calling” and your doing it for all the right reasons and rewards commensurate with fulfillment. If the payscale were the attraction for all those proffessions we are so short handed on, those open positions could be filled overnight, but not with the dedicated, care giving, service oriented people who are living out their reason for being here. God has blessed you and the rest of us, for people like you.
Great blog, Don LH

I think you for you kind words, though I fear I’m not really worthy of them. I did go into teaching as my passion, and most of the time have considered myself fortunate to be able to eran my living doing something that, if I could afford to, I’d do for free (though perhaps not quite so much of it, and more on my own terms. . .)

“An experimental blog for an inquiring mind”
I like this description. I respect the attitude of inquiring and the people who have this attitude.
I have a question for you. Is reality objective or subjective?

Somewhere I have a post about intersubjective vs. objective that might be relevant. There used to be a graphic on one of my pages showing my view of reality, which is more complex than your question allows for. But I think the technology made the graphic format obsolete so you may not be able to see it anymore. One answer would be “yes”—in the sense of “both/and or either/or, depending on what aspect of reality you are thinking of”.
