These I took last spring.
This one is a wild iris, with some manzanita in the background.
This one I enlarged quite a bit–the actual blossom was about a quarter-inch across.
I’m not sure what this one is (if anyone out there does, let me know). But the shiny green stuff in the background is poison oak–which is very pretty stuff, if you stay away from it.
This one is some kind of weed that shows up every spring in my back yard. I’d encourage it if I knew how–it’s such a pretty yellow.
